PurposeThe Springer Award for best paper published in The Australian Educational Researcher was inaugurated in 2011.

Selection processThe journal's editorial team chooses the best paper from those published in each calendar year, and the Award is presented at the AARE Annual Conference by the Springer Representative. The panel’s decision will be final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

744 abstracts were received for this year’s AARE Conference in Adelaide (Sunday 27th November – Thursday 1st December). Thank you to everyone for your efforts made in preparing abstract submissions.
