As reported in the January member update, the latest version of the Constitution, which incorporates changes required after the 2023 member vote, is now available on the AARE website.

The 2023/24 Constitutional Review process continues after a lot of work was completed in 2023. Our next step is to gain some targeted feedback from relevant groups of membership. If you would like to be a part of this feedback and consultation process please let us know via the secretary@aare.edu.au email address.

SIG Grant Funding Round is now open and closes 11.59pm May 30, 2024. 

SIG Convenors are now welcome to apply for the 2024-25 Grant Funding round. 

The 2024 available grants to support SIG initiatives include Major+, Major and Minor grants:

NOTE: Only one competitive funding application can be submitted from each SIG.

We are excited to announce that the 2024 AARE conference will be hosted by Macquarie University at their beautiful Wallumattagal campus situated in bushland in Sydney’s north.

The theme is Education in a Changing World and details of the Call for Papers and instructions for submitting proposals will follow shortly.

The conference theme is ‘Education in a Changing World’ and we are pleased to announce that the website is open for submission of abstracts. You will find the Call for Papers with more information on the theme on the conference website, as well as detailed instructions for the submission process and links to submit individual and symposium abstracts.

AARE is pleased to provide a conference bursary program to support conference attendance in 2024. This program is offered as a way of reaching new members and as a service to existing AARE members. The program is in recognition of the equity issues faced by postgraduate students and early career researchers in the current Higher Education context.
