The day-to-day affairs of the Association are managed by an Executive Committee, most of whom are elected by the general membership of the Association. The composition of the Executive and terms of office for the various positions are specified in the Association's Constitution. Current Executive Committee membership is shown below.

AARE supports high quality research and from time to time commissions reports or supports research projects. Also see the 'New research by AARE members' page.

AARE provides members with a variety of funding opportunities. The opportunity to apply for these funding schemes is a benefit for members of the Association.  The opportunities include:
