Call for Expressions of Interest, AER Editor in Chief 2022-2025

Expressions of interest are invited for the role of Editor in Chief of the Australian Educational Researcher, the scholarly journal of the Australian Association for Research in Education (AARE).

The successful candidate will join the AER Editorial Team in the second half of 2022 and commence as Editor in Chief from the date of the 2022 AARE Annual General Meeting for a three-year initial term, ending in December 2025.

Applicants should be living in Australia and working within an Australian university. Membership of AARE is a requirement of all members of the AARE Executive.

Expressions of interest should be made in writing and include:
1. A brief cover letter outlining the candidate’s interest in the role
2. A response to the selection criteria nominated below
3. A Curriculum Vitae detailing prior experience and background

Expressions of interest close on 15 June 2022, with a view to the new Editor in Chief joining the Editorial Team in August/September 2022 to work alongside the outgoing Editor in Chief.
