AARE is seeking an outstanding scholar to take on a role as Series Editor, working alongside Professor Marcia McKenzie (University of Melbourne) and Dr Samantha Schulz (University of Adelaide). This follows the conclusion of Professor Greg Thompson’s term as Series Editor. We sincerely thank Greg for his commitment to advancing the series and all his work in the role. As an inaugural Editor for the series, Greg has been integral to the direction and positive outcomes of the series to date. We also thank Dr Katie Maher (UniSA) for her service to the Editorial team during 2024 and wish her well in her new endeavours.
The appointment will be for 3 years in the first instance.
Researchers across career phases are encouraged to apply. Preference may be given to researchers at universities other than those already represented on the Series Editorial team.

The decision will be made by the AARE Executive on the recommendation of a panel formed for the purpose led by the President of AARE (or their representative). The Panel formed by the President will include members, such as: those experienced in publishing; relevant Executive members; and members of the current Series Editorial team. The decision of the Panel will be final.
