Ray Debus Award for Doctoral Research in Education, Nominations open

AARE Logo RGB1

AARE recognises distinguished contribution to the association through a number of key initiatives each year.  One of which is through the Ray Debus Award for Doctoral Research in Education which recognises excellence in educational research by doctoral students.

The award is a memorial to Dr Ray Debus, late distinguished mentor to many doctoral students and early career researchers, as well as both founding and Honorary Life Member of AARE.

The Ray Debus Award is seen by the Association as a way of recognising the high-quality contribution made to educational knowledge by graduate students, and at the same time promoting dissemination of research.

Education researchers awarded a doctoral degree from an Australian institution in the two years prior to 30 June in the year of the award are eligible to be nominated by their institution (self-nominations are not accepted).

Current year nominations are due by 30 August, 2024.  Click here for details about the criteria, application and selection process.
